Quranism

We are Muslims. We adhere to the messages of God, that is, the Quran and, as the Quran commands, the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel.

We reject Hadiths for legal rulings and guidance. They, like other mundane texts, may have value for placing them in their linguistic and historical context, but they are not part of Islam or the messages of God.

We do not need scholars. No one can explain the word of God better than God Himself. Those who elevate the words and rulings of their scholars above the word of God question God's omnipotence and commit polytheism.

On this page, we invite you to pure Islam, which is based on the Quran, the Gospel, the Psalms, and the Torah, that is, solely on the messages that God has conveyed to us.

In English, Islam means Submission to God. Muslims are Submitters.

Quranism is simply the name of this website. We do not refer to ourselves as Quranites, but as God has conveyed to us in the Quran as those who submit to God (Muslimūn) and believers (Muʾminūn).
